We have got one of each, so I got the full buffet. A lot of sports, a lot of music and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have been many things in my life and the thing I like best of all is being a dad.

Great thread, and I am happy to add a photo of my daughter, Alysia, and me on opening day (2012) at the Phillies. Alysia, who shares her mother's beauty, traveled from her home in Des Moines to join her father for the start of the new season. Her brother Brent was envious, but we only have two seats!

Cheers, Mike

This thread makes me excited to think of the future opportunities with both my son and daughter. Thanks for providing great examples on how to share the hobby and the love of life.

Very heartwarming thread. My wife and I are blessed with two young sons (2&4). We have been tossing around the idea of trying for a girl. I feel like I might be missing out on an entirely different set of emotions and experiences if I only raise boys. Of course, if we keep trying for a girl we might end up with a baseball team full of boys.

The greatest joy in my life is my 2 year old elizabeth this is my first child and hope to have 1 more hopefully a boy but another girl would be just as good. I remember going to the dr so they could tell me the sex of the child and i was told it was going to be a boy and was so excited but went and had one of those 3d photos taken and it was a girl and i was bumbed for about 2 seconds but would not trade her for anything in the world. elizabeth is the light of my life and when i feel down i can look at her and see her smile and just makes everything ok.

Only my son (who lives in California) is missing.

Yes, we are all Yankee (and Giant and Devil) fans!
