Got rid of the split drive shaft and carrier bearing and have a custom built drive shaft made. swapped the 2 speed power glide for a turbo 350, mounted washer resivoirs in the trunk for bleach/ water on the rear tires, spark plugs and propane injection the the exhaust, 6 foot flames. Navy days were fun.

I'm extremely stoked to get this latest photo. It's been a long time since I've added anything like this to my prewar collection.

Congrats again Clint! That's a keeper...however I may have to pry it away from you if that is indeed William Jennings Bryan there.

The photo I won off of ebay. As for the game I know Johnson made a few trips back to Kansas for exhibition games. I have rppcs from a game in Humboldt and also probably from this same game in Coffeyville. I strongly believe that William Jennings Bryan is standing between Cheney and Johnson. At the Coffeyville museum they have 4-5 postcards from this game. Larry Cheney and Ad Brennan were from Kansas like Johnson. Not sure why the games were held other than to celebrate the players. Here's a few of the rppcs I was talking about. They also had a loving cup at the museum that was presented to Johnson full of silver dollars given by the crowd. Seems like that cup was much bigger than the one in the photo. Looks like I need to make another trip to Coffeyville.

Thanks Dan, I need to do some more research and I will get back with you on that.

That may be an answerable question depending on what can be seen from a hi-res of the head in question and what can be found in newspaper articles.

I haven't historically collected Tickets though I do have a few for milestone acheivements (i.e. recent 500 Home Run or 3000 Hit games). On a whim picked up MLB Debut tickets for Mike Trout and Bryce Harper as well as a ticket from Harper's 1st Major League Home Run. Probably limited upside but if these guys end up being as good as they look at this point, maybe I'll have something!

Anyone else grabbing these? I think I paid $3 for the Trout ticket...about $8 each for the Harper's...
