Congratulations! That is a nice Gehrig. I think that the 1934 Goudey #37 is the best looking Gehrig card that Goudey produced. That card is also the card that got me back into collecting vintage baseball cards in 2008!

Congrats!
The opening quote on the back of the card, while genuine Lou Gehrig, is also bittersweet and sadly ironic. Lou definitely deserved to be in there batting them out for many years to come. |
