I found this stamp to be very interesting and curious. The stamp reads "Van Oeyen Photo 1907" across the top as well as having "Daniel" stamped above the Hoffman at the bottom. I am assuming that the stamp refers to famous photographer Louis Van Oeyen who became the official photographer of the American League in 1908. The curious part to me is the "1907" date. |

I imagine the collector knew that Van Oeyen took the original photo in 1907 and also put Hoffman's first name on the card. I imagine somewhere out there are a whole group of T206's like this. |
