I have 5 of these cards now Paul. I owned quite a few more at one time but sold them. I regret that sale now. I also own an Orcutt, Montgomery Series 4. I also thought that all the Alabama team players were in Series 8. |

The Montgomery in Series 4 is from the Virginia Valley League so I'm not sure they are the same place. I assume it's a smaller town in Virginia or West Virginia. |

Paul, there is a Montgomery County in Virginia. The "M"s and the uniforms are different, so I am sure you are right. Thank you. |

Ok... the West Virginia stuff I recalled from reading. 1910 is the year of the cards, knew that. And I recalled Virgina Valley League, and it just had to be at the bottom rung of the minor league ladder, class D. |

for this info. The reason I'm interested in Chattanooga players is that I live like 30 minutes away. Matter of fact, I have drove to Chattanooga each of the last 3 days (mom was in hospital....shes home now.............doing OK). I used to go to several games a year back in the early 90s (Pokey Reese, Tim Costo, Wally Ritchie, etc, etc) Went to all but one of the "Jordan" games at hisoric Engel Stadium in '94. There was no place like Engel Stadium. You were like part of the game because you were so close to the action. I used to stand at the fence right at 1st base and could actually hear the coaches talking to the players on base and the players talking to each other during the game. I have a baseball (foul ball;-)) signed by th entire team from the 1994 season (players on the active roster on the date that it was auto'd) w/ all coaches, trainer, etc, etc. I actually asked one of the players that I had spoken to to take the ball with him into the dugout and into the clubhouse to get it signed by everyone and asked them to put their jersey number beside their auto......and they did. Neat item. Also managed to get a baseball signed by Jordan, but thats a different story of how I managed that as he would not hardly even look up as he left the field. |

Pokey Reese... a character! I have pieces of one of his Lookouts uniforms, that sleeveless jersey vest, and I think the pants, too. I might dig it out and make a photo for you, if you really want to see it. |

Sure, shoot me a photo of the uniform. Sadly, Engel Stadium is no longer used by the Lookouts (think high-school tournaments, etc,etc.. are played there now) The Lookouts moved into their new stadium a few years ago. Haven't been to a game there......yet. |

Well in digging for the Pokey Reese uniform I've found Mr. Lipset's volume 2, so I'll work on a Colgans Chattanooga list. |

I rememebered that I had the Lipsets Books here also. Knew I had seen a detailed list of the T210s and the E254s somewhere. I was sitting here at my desk and just happened to look up at my books here and saw "The Encyclopedia of Baseball Cards" and thought "DUH!"........lol |
