Why is it OK and increase the value of books/paintings/etc... to have a professional attempt to restore an old books binding or touch up a painting, but if I erase pencil marks on the back of a card, I've somehow devalued the card by "altering it?" |

It's not personal when folks don't answer questions that you have. A lot of times it's because we have covered them numerous times on this board. If you do a search on some key words you will probably find many discussions on this topic. Folks just don't want their cards restored, they want them to be virgin |
