I LOVE that Boston Tea Party-related newspaper! I had to google to see the date of the Tea Party; so cool that the paper is only a week before that - incredible!

Awesome stuff Scott! I knew you had some of it but hadn't seen it. Now you need to track down the table leg from Norm Cash!

Scott S, the Tea Paper is awesome! All the front page is devoted to the tea that is just landed and is sitting in Boston Harbor. The front page also contains Governor Hutchinsons's letter to the rebels informing them of their illegal meeting.
Being in a Boston paper...very exciting! |

I no longer save newspapers, but I like to take pictures of newspapers for big events on the newsstands. It's fun to see pictures of what are now collector's items in their original form, readily available for cover price...

Brian, That's awesome...Does anyone have other memorabilia of Jim Creighton?
Coincidently I just bought an 1881 American newspaper directory a couple weeks ago off eBay...seems to list every newspaper from the biggest cities to every backwater little burg...essentially I believe the directory was marketed to business' who wanted to run ads and needed a list of, and contact info, for all newspapers so they could advertise their products...I've always found the newspaper business interesting. ![]()
