Much like Teddy Z, I met Max at the early Willow Grove shows. Although I haven't seen him in years, I think of him regularly. Max wrote one of the best articles on hobby show "characters" which was published in Baseball Hobby News in 1990. I still get a chuckle out of how true that article was when I attended my first show (around '74), and how true it still remains to this day. Some things NEVER change.
