Default Ever have your desire or resolve tested?

Posted By: Dave

I question why I decided to go after the Monster after I swore it off 3 years ago (and sold off the 100 I already had)

Now I lament the fact that I sold the other t206 cards every time I purchase one I had previously...and I kinda miss some of the rarer cards I dumped to get back into t206.

So to sum up. I'm psychotic. Every day my resolve is tested. Especially in this economic time and with a newborn.

But the good thing is that they are plentiful... and the set something I can enjoy going for in good and bad times economically, and can go after at my own pace... with collecting rare cards it's a lot trickier because when you see one you have to pony up the cash to get it right there and the chances are you won't see one again for a long time.

...and for those who don't enjoy cards it's something (The Monster) they tend to appreciate a little more than rarity. The notion of getting 500+ cards that form a set from 1909-11 is something that can blow non-collector's minds.

At least that's what I think today.
