No doubt about what you said. My grandparents went through the depression as I am sure many other board member's parents, grandparents and relatives did too. When my grandfather passed away, about 10 yrs ago, we cleaned out his garage. We found about 100 or more plastic, empty milk jugs, saved for no apparent reason. Many depression era folks were certainly pack rats. Then on my wife's side...Her grandparents were so poor they didn't even know there was a depression. They were sharecroppers.. For them nothing changed..... best regards |
