Rafael Palmeiro won a gold glove at 1b despite playing only 28 games there one year. MLB rarely gets the award right. I don't think you can just go on how many a player gets. Sadly, if a player can hit a ton, he will win the gold glove award - unless of course another player at that same position hit better. Sometimes the correct players wins it. |
