Barry--I respect your option to run your auction in any way you please. In this era of fast-paced technology, and even more impatient people, I can imagine that bidders not having instant access to information or communication must be frustrating to them. The days of the phone bid seem archaic, even though it is nostalgic to so many. Your prices realized are steller, however, I personally prefer to deal with online auction houses with the 30 minute rule on each lot. That way I know how I stand on each time, how much time is left, and I can budget as such. Just my thought and I'm glad you're happy with how it went. |
