I think Fritsch reprints only actual sets. He doesn't make fantasy sets -- except "one year winners" and other sets that look nothing like a real vintage set. So I'm still betting on real. The seller has a few commons up for auction. I may buy one and see what I get. I agree that caution is very appropriate here. I would have bid much more on the Stengel if I was confident that it was authentic. |
