Last time we saw one like this the seller collected his list of approved bidders and then contacted them after the auction. He'd tell them that the other bidder(s) backed out and then offered to sell to the newest "sucker". He then disappeared with the money of all that would fall for it. He would run one day auctions so that he could get off of ebay's radar screen as quickly as possible. He'd then make his deals outside of ebay so that they wouldn't be involved. |
