Don't break open your piggy banks just yet. Considering James's "enthusiastic" descriptions in the past I don't see him missing this chance at a bigger sale. |

This is no brown back Old Mill. Not a chance. I've owned dozens of Old Mills (mostly Southern Leaguers) that looked somewhat brown or washed-out black. They looked closer to brown than this one. I could be wrong, but I think it's somewhat of a myth - t206 urban legend if you will. It's like the different shades of green on the Sovereign backs. Certainly different shades, but also certainly green. |

Didn't think I needed to telegraph my jokes, but in the future I will be sure to include a link to a "dry joke explanation page" on my web-site. |

James has been on a roll lately with unique listing and is not even taking advantage of the situation. |

Just clarify I agree with Craig, I don't believe I have and brown backs just a bunch of OM's Southern Leaguers that are more faded than normal. |

Back when I didn't believe they existed, you may remember I challenged board members to produce a scan of a real one. Well, no one did, but someone who I trust emailed me with a scan of one he owns, and it looks the same color as a Brown Hindu. I don't know why he didn't post on this board - maybe he was getting a kick out of the arguing we were doing! |
