That Kimino is pretty damn cool! I hope it comes around again at some point and you have a chance to get.

The back has a big Giants logo. If another comes around, it will probably go for 5X that price. ,

I am pleased to have picked up these two 1924 photos, one of Sam Rice and one of Walter Johnson, in the RMY auction that just ended. Each of these photos matches one of their more obscure baseball cards. The Rice
photo matches his 1926 Sports Co. of America card (shown below).

The 1924 photo of WaJo matches his 1921-22 or 1922 (depending on the hobby reference) Schapira Bros. Big Show Candy card (shown below), and this puzzles me. Assuming the September 17, 1924, date in the caption on the back of this photo is correct, this suggests to me that the issue date for this card set has to be later than that shown in hobby references. Might there be another explanation that I haven't thought of?

Also 1917 Merchants Bakery & Weil Baking cards of WaJo. Also E222 cards of Lipe, Revelle & Ryan.

Thanks, Chris. If I hadn't discovered, a couple of days before the auction ended, that the Rice photo matched one of his more obscure baseball cards, I doubt that I would have bid as much for it as I did. While I'm striving for a master set of Rice's cards, I don't feel the need to obtain every Rice photo that becomes available.

Happy to receive this premium of the Legendary 1947 Almendares Cuban Winter League team from Legendary Auctions featuring Hall of Fame member Buck O'Neil and Cuban Series hero Max Lanier.

Newest addition to my Pirates collection - 1976 Game used hat from Dave Parker - this was a one year style (color) worn specifically for the bicentennial.

Is Legendary Auctions back? Wasn't that the the old Doug Allen/Bill Mastro auction house?
