Net54baseball is very happy to be partnered with the National Sports Collectors Convention this year, a as media partner.
We have been given 2 VIP passes to give out in 2 contests, 1 each. These passes are transferrable for 2 weeks from the end day of the contest. That means everyone can play because, if won and not going, they can be traded for vintage cards, dead presidents, whatever. Here is the only kicker. I need the name of that VIP ticket holder (winner) within 2 weeks of the contest end and there can only be 1 change. *Then that person with the ticket WILL need to show photo ID at the window when picking up the ticket. If it isn't the ID I gave them, that person won't get the ticket. I have been thinking of some contests but want to open it up to some different ideas (please). Generally speaking, keeping it simple is best. Hopefully, at least a few members will respond, and keeping those suggestions in mind, some contests will be developed. Suggestions may or may not be used but they are all appreciated. And thanks to the kind folks at the National Sports Collectors Convention for donating the VIP tickets. Net54baseball is excited to be partnered with the National Sports Collectors Convention this year, and as such, helping to spread the word...

I miss the old guess the end price of a couple three cards on eBay contests.

Another suggestion is guess the total reported attendance figure for all MLB games for a given date. ESPN includes attendance figures for all games in their Game Summary, those could be used to determine the winner. |

Set it up as a raffle - $X per entry - and donate the proceeds to a charity

I thought we’d be partnering with Best Western Plus.

I hear one of the best employees at the Strongsville, Ohio location quit unexpectedly a couple of months ago, so the service level may have suffered as a result.
Strongsville BWP management informed me that if you see this former employee, first name Jacob, strongsvilleperp.jpg to have him come back to the hotel, the door is open for his return, and there might even be the possibility of a raise. Brian |

I also liked the guess the Ebay auction contests as well.

Spin a wheel for one. Each spot 5 or 10 bucks. 1 spot per person. Money goes to a animal charity.

Beauty Contest
• We each wear a hat of our favorite team (to cover the baldness) and smile for the camera. Headshots only, so there's no overflowing, greatly expanding belly taking up a good 80% of the shot. • Everyone's wives/girlfriends/whatevers then cast a vote for who(m) they think is the Hottest Net54er.* These ladies, of course, cannot vote for the absolute mess of humanity they call their own. • The three highest vote getters then move on to the Swimsuit Competition (details to be worked out later). And to raise money, perhaps Leon can design a 'Hottest Posters of Net54' calendar from the photographs to sell to all of the wanton, horny females out there looking for the cardboard men of their dreams?? Definitely heaps of cash to be made there. *It's sad that in 2024 we are still judging every man based solely on his looks. SMH.

Pick three consecutive days and guess the total number of runs scored in MLB games for the three day period. Total number of home runs could be a tiebreaker.

A random raffle thingamabob is the best way, IMO.
Keep it simple, stupid(ly handsome man)!! Pay a couple of bucks to enter (and that money could go towards defraying some of the cost of the National Net54 dinner extravaganza, or perhaps could be used to print some extra Net54 shirts when it's time to issue a new version, that could also be given away randomly to members) and then get the on-line randomizer going to pick the winners...perhaps in a live stream event? (Can't you feel the excitement building???) Perhaps one entry per member and maybe you'd have to have a certain minimum number of posts to be eligible, to ensure the people who've been here for a good while don't get stiffed by some (most likely haling from Australia, for some reason) newbie.
