My contention is that 1910 COUPON cigarettes were never packaged in the standard "10-pack" format (as most of the Tobacco products of that time). Furthermore, it's my guess that the cards with no paper loss on their backs were simply inserted within these cartons of cigarettes. Quite a number of my 1910 COUPON cards have this typical paper loss on their backs since I was able to acquire them at less cost.
