And random thought, but The D304 Wagner is really an ugly card with a bad likeness, i love the set but not that card so much. Maybe I am just jealous that I dont own one!?
Am in agreement with you as to the general aesthetic of the D304 Wagner. It's a gloomy looking card. Don't know what compelled me to buy one many years ago. Maybe I thought it would suffice as a poor man's T206 Wags. I sure as heck wouldn't pony up five figures for one, especially with the fatal flaws of a creased face and centering so off kilter. I'll throw my D304 into the marketplace in a couple of years as I phase out of the hobby and grow old and die, and hope that prices stay crazy. Wish I had held off selling the Voskamp Wagner I had a year or so back. It was a great card and rare as they get. Somebody out there ought to be smiling.
