If you were having a house party in the early 60s in St Louis it would have been a mistake to invite Hemus, Bing Devine, John Keane and Bob Gibson all together

What's cool with seeing several examples of the same card you get to see centering trends. My Solly isn't the sharpest, but I do appreciate the centering on this one...

My Solly had plenty of other issues along with centering. As you can tell, I wasn't that picky when putting my sets together.

Your 54s look better than my 53s! That to me is the beauty of the larger 50s cards...just having them is cool. I got really lucky on my initial "lot" when putting 54 together and built the set from there. If we do this with 1955 it will be a different story...first couple lots and what I had initially was rough...so I built the set consistent with that...which is fun.
