I can see the reasoning on the PSA grade, but have to say I personally feel the SGC is over graded by at least 1 full grade.
Many prefer a sliding scale for vintage grading. I would appreciate uniformity (granted this is a pipe dream as millions of cards have not followed this) between vintage, post war, modern, and ultra modern. What grade would you feel was deserved if a 2022 Mike Trout was in the same condition? Before it’s brought up, I understand the normal effects of time, I just don’t mind a lower grade. What I don’t like is a million different standards.
