The only items I ever win are mistakes on my part. I don't read carefully enough. I apparently looked up a VCP price on an OPC Gretzky rookie and bought it because I thought it was a nice bargain but the card was actually a Topps card which I noticed this morning so the price paid by me was too much.
Also, failed to read that the Connie Mack autograph on the sweet spot of a 1948 A's team signed ball was clubhouse. So, my two wins were both mistakes. Fortunately, the amount spent was pretty small and the loss is even smaller but just goes to show I can't win anything I actually want when I read the description correctly as I was outbid on every other lot bid on in the REA auction and every lot in the Heritage auction.
