History Lesson
Just for the record, Maris hit his 59th in game 154.
And he hit another ball to the warning track and another one foul as I recall (I just googled it to be sure). There was enormous pressure on him, and it was a valiant effort. I remember commemorating it on the top of a page in my high school history text as I was doing my homework. Last edited by dougscats; 10-08-2022 at 06:57 PM.
