Posted the image on the Facebook Group "New York Central Railroad Fangroup" and got these responses so far.....
"These cards were given to conductors at station stops, all filled out, so the conductors could announce the details to passengers on the train. There were no cell phones then ..." "Used on the 20th Century. Passengers could get the scores from the conductor." A “perk” for passengers traveling in the afternoon. (The Century departed after the game was over)"
