Atlantic City is a 5.5 hour drive for me and Cleveland is around 13 hours driving. Even with an extra 7.5 hours of driving each way I’d rather travel to Cleveland. Avoiding Jersey and NYC is a win in my book. The IX Center is enormous, easy parking, nice affordable hotels and restaurants in the area, not much to complain about with Cleveland. I prefer driving over flying as I can combine the trip with a stop in Canton or Cooperstown.
Cleveland is in a nice location for a large majority of east coast and Midwest collectors. I wouldn’t mind switching the AC show with either a Denver, Dallas, Salt Lake, Phoenix show every other time to get a more central location for the west coasters. |
