Overrated: 1952 Topps. A lot of the cards look alike, and the card in it everyone goes Gaga over isn’t even Mantle’s rookie.

Underrated: 1951 Bowman. It has the great artwork of the 1950 set but with names on it so I don’t have to guess who each common is.

Favorite: 1953 Topps. Fell in love with the artwork the first time I had one in hand.

Least favorite: 1962 Topps. The wood grain borders have always looked dated. I didn’t like them in the 1955 Bowman set, or in the 1987 Topps either.
