They do pull stuff if there's a complaint, and apparently don't even bother checking it out.
A friend listed a Marlin Arms matchbook with pro-US propaganda where a GI was bayonetting a nazi flag. it got pulled and when he asked -which you could do back then- they said someone periodically just went through and filed complaints about anything with certain symbols. He asked if they'd even bothered lookin, as it was pro US propaganda and they said they mostly didn't bother. But they pulled it up while he was on the phone and realized it should have stayed, and it was back up in under 24 hours.
