eBay and PWCC - "PC" policy

http://www.ebay.com/itm/194207732851...kAAOSw0fNgzOZZ
Has anyone had experience with eBay and/or PWCC trying to consign an item that they subsequently reject for "PC" reasons. I sent PWCC a PSA 6 Topps Adventure #86 card - like the one in the link (along with several others) two months ago. Today I realized it was never listed on eBay in this month's auction which is ending soon. Why? Also, PWCC never even had the courtesy to advise me they did not list it - nor did they return it as of yet.

I call my PWCC rep who explained they never listed it because it is eBay's policy not to. Huh? I check and see several of the same currently listed on eBay, along with several similar collectibles that have swastikas', etc. (many stamps, photos, books, etc. with swastikas' imagery are currently listed).

I spoke to eBay concierge and who asked me to send them an image to check as they would not even get specific about their "PC" policy.

I then get a call from PWCC's Cust. Serv. mgr. who then says because eBay handles these items SUBJECTIVELY that they (PWCC) decided themselves to no longer even TRY to submit any item like this ever to eBay. He explained that if an eBay user contacts eBay and complains about it, it gets taken down immediately. Furthermore, he explained eBay for the most part will not accept MAGIC cards that say JIHAD, as well.

A lot of nonsense happening here. This PC world is too much for me.

They are telling you right. eBay will kick the item off if someone submits a complaint on the link (report a item) ---its plainly specified in eBay's policy about listing German WW2 items--once I listed a German dagger referred to as the Red Cross model--someone complained and it was removed, the pictures didn't even show any of the restricted symbols-- I assume PWCC doesn't want the removed item restricted emails from eBay, and will not to try to list--

They do pull stuff if there's a complaint, and apparently don't even bother checking it out.

A friend listed a Marlin Arms matchbook with pro-US propaganda where a GI was bayonetting a nazi flag. it got pulled and when he asked -which you could do back then- they said someone periodically just went through and filed complaints about anything with certain symbols.
He asked if they'd even bothered lookin, as it was pro US propaganda and they said they mostly didn't bother.
But they pulled it up while he was on the phone and realized it should have stayed, and it was back up in under 24 hours.

It's just a Topps Sportscard for Crissakes!

So there are eBay trolls who look for WWII stuff and label it offensive. This insanity needs to cease.

Big problem is this card is the key to the set....

I’m certain some of those “trolls” are other sellers. If they have a similar or identical item for sale, they’ll use their “buyer account” to report competing items. This is not limited to WWII items.
