Hi Tony, I don't want to hijack your sale and I can delete this if I'm totally wrong, but I'm curious as to what makes the George Scott "guaranteed game worn"? I'd be interested in it if I could find a connection to how he used it, but so far I haven't.
New Era caps with black underbrims weren't introduced (at least for the Red Sox) until 2007 and that particular tagging style points roughly to 2010-2012. Scott died in 2013. Maybe he used it for an on-field appearance or to attend a game at Fenway but so far I haven't found any mention or any pictures of him attending such events late in his life. The Tewksbury looks much more era-specific and really nice!
