T206 REFERENCE.....ATC's "signature" white-border T-card. Post your favorite Red Cobb
It's time for me to show-off my unique red Cobb with an unusually rare LENOX back.
Now..... do not let the " MILITARY SERIES " on the back of this card confuse you  After all, Cobb has been quoted as saying...." Baseball is like War ! "  ------ In my wild imagination, I expect that some day we will find a red Cobb with a T80 back on it. This may seem improbable; however, consider a printer confusing the T80 LENOX (backs) printing plates with the T206 LENOX plates. Both the T206 and T80 cards were printed concurrently (circa early Spring 1911).   The same type of printing mistake applies to this Cobb; however, it would be a UZIT back. Here Cobb is wielding his "weapon of War"  ------  TED Z T206 REFERENCE....convenient access to T206 checklists .
