Pelayo "Cortina" Chacon. "The Curtain" had a long career playing shortstop and managing in the Negro leagues. He last appeared as part of the Cuban House of David in 1931.

Here's another Dandridge. One of the few who might have been better at 3B than Brooks Robinson. Excelled at the plate as well in the Negro leagues, Mexican League, and Triple-A baseball after integration. Member of the MLB Hall of Fame since 1987.

Here are a few, in order:
Takehiko Bessho was a star pitcher in the early days of Japanese pro baseball. Hideo Fujimoto posted a 0.79 ERA in 1943. Hisanori Karita was a star player before the formation of Japanese pro leagues (although this card is from after baseball in Japan went pro). Lefty O'Doul, you know him. And lots more in this thread.
