That seems impossible. Half the heavy wrinkles are gone, half are visible? Why even do it on this card? Mindboggling. There is no possible angle you could take that picture that would remove the ones that are missing.

Who's the guy that does the card overlays on this board? This would be AMAZING to overlay.

Edit: It's not recently graded, but my thought was maybe the creases came back. Maybe it's a CCD vs. standard scanner issue, where the CCD scanner is picking up the depth of the creasing, while the older style is not.

I've always thought that PWCC uses Ultra High End Scanners and utilizes ALL of the teaks available (Color Correct, Contrast, etc) for their postings. The images are all pretty much uber sharp shiney

One is probably for when they want limited bids and one is probably for when they want maximum bids.

Not really, as the cards were graded like 4 years before they were sold, two months apart.

I mean, "scanner issue" could mean just about anything to be fair. It could be a CCD vs. Standard issue as mentioned by somebody else, it could be a Descreen setting issue, and it also could very well be an Epson ICE setting they are using on their scans.

In the last case that would be a purposeful attempt to clean up or diffuse creases in scans.
