I don't know most of the Jeter and newer Yankee stuff, but Chris is the best at Jeter that I am aware of. If he says they are bad, they are bad.
I will comment on the couple items I do feel comfortable opining on. The Mantles that I saw are all bad. The Dimaggio and Williams MAY be good, but I would buy neither as they both look a little off to me.
