Maybe some people don't realize that it was a card, but the 1985 Nike promo card of Michael Jordan in the Jumpman pose would be right there with the Wagner T206 and 52T Mantle, IMO. The Jumpman logo that came from that card is ubiquitous.

I think the 10 most iconic cards in baseball alone are (Not in order):

T206 Wagner
52T Mantle
T206 Cobb Red
54T Hank Aaron
55T Clemente
56T Mantle
33 Goudey Ruths (all)
89 Fleer Billy Ripken FF bat
89 UD Griffey
2011 Topps Update Trout (making its way up the list due to the generation of kids getting into the hobby)

Why would the 2011 Topps Update of Trout be iconic? The 2009 Bowman Chrome certified auto is way, way, way more in demand. That's the card to have.

Not positive on the why, but would agree it is the 2011 Topps Update over
the 2009 Bowman Chrome. The 2009 Bowman Chrome is the most expensive
and I guess true rookie card but 2011 is working its way up the list as the
next UD Griffey card for sure.
