Thank you all for making me not buying and think it might be printed 100+ years ago
This board is very good at helping out in many of these instances. Glad it got worked out.

Haven't read the Forum in a few days, but I actually did my duty when I saw this card on 1/28/18 and contacted the seller to tell him it was a replica:

Well was not obvious to me. But thank you for taking the time to point out. Thanks again

This card appears to be an obvious reprint. It has no factory number on the bottom back, which all genuine T206's do.

Glad he finally refunded your money.

I like that the card has the correct dot-matrix printing on the front — you don’t see that on reprints — and I don’t think the lettering on the name and team are black, or that the Piedmont isn’t blue (it’s a poorly lit photo). The missing factory designation looks like it came away when this card was soaked off of a scrap book, which the frayed edges and corners suggest happened.

But what I can’t explain is the blue shadowing on the bottom front, which disappears and shows up on the reverse on the wrong side. That’s really weird.

Either way I’d prefer a better picture or scan, but I would wait to have the card in hand before crying fraud.

Just my two cents...

But the front just looks off. Many times that is a bad sign.
