Book Review
Just received the book from Amazon yesterday and it is much more impressive than I was anticipating.
Sometimes when you order a book there is much more text than illustrations which makes for a disappointing read. Not the case here. Each card, 169 of them, is featured on it's own page with color front/rear photos, a brief description, recent auction/sale $$ results, Book Values, PSA census data etc. Book also contains about 80 pages of Mantle Print Memorabilia: Photos, Pins, Coins, Postcards, Decals, Matchbooks, Statues, Tokens, Advertising Signs, Bottle Caps, Tattoos, Dolls, Stamps, Panels, Pamphlets, Stickers, Plaques, Linen Emblems, Rubb-Offs, Discs, Posters, Playing Cards etc. Book is an oversized softcover, 240+ pages, about the size of a Auction House Catalog. Well worth the price for Mantle fans and card collectors in general ... Steve
