Joss was first offered on May 23, 1903. I have never seen a Type 2, but it should exist. There were a total of 8 HOFers (J. Collins, Griffith, Mathewson, Davis, Joss, Flick, Bender and Willis) that were first issued between Jan 31, 1903 and August 8, 1903. Joss is the only one that I have not seen with a type 2 mount.

Ed Walsh was not issued until October 1, 1904. He is only known with a type 4 mount. Same exact thing with Three Finger Brown.

Crum, I saw the type 2 Bender in the latest REA auction, but didn't have this new info at my disposal at the time. I would have certainly made a run for that example. Poop.
