I may be the only football fan in America who has never participated in fantasy football. But I've been wanting to try. I've done NASCAR fantasy for a couple of seasons so sign up was easy. Yahoo offers a video for "first-timers" so I'll have to watch that!

I participated in a mock draft Yahoo gave me a B+ LOL

1. What happens when the defense you pick is on a bye week? Do you just select a defense to use just for that week on waivers?

2. Same for QB if I only select 1 QB, will there be one I can claim on waivers just for one week?

Yeah, in both cases you do exactly what you just said: grab a def or a qb off waivers. Since our league is only 10 teams, there will be plenty of options to pick up off waivers later in the season.

On a side note, to all those that already signed up...thank you! To those that showed interest but haven't got around to joining, please do your best to sign up in the next couple days. On Wednesday I'll prob post a notice to the new member intro board to find others to fill any remaining spots.
