I had the pleasure of meeting the champ twice in my life and he left a positive feeling both times....first time was at a paid signing in denver in mid 90's where he was being paid to sign, and second time was at a little league tournament where he had a RV parked way in the back and I happened to see him...This was 2005 ish...he signed baseball after baseball for kids...and whenever someone wanted a picture he placed the kids fist next to his cheek like the kid was knocking him out...Truely an American icon gone but never forgotten...RIP Champ!!!!!
