Muhammad Ali Forgeries On Ebay GFA-Certed
With the passing of Muhammad Ali, the below was not unexpected.
As I was preparing to go fishing this morning, I could not leave until I posted the below. I am truly outraged!!! Not surprised, of course, but certainly outraged!!! Sad and disgusting. http://live.autographmagazine.com/fo...on-ebay-part-1 |
Shameful, but, unfortunately, not surprising. PT Barnum is alive and well.

Seems like stepping on a warm body before it is even buried is part of a business plan for some.
Sad, pathetic and sickening but not surprising. |
If you look at the history of when famous people die. You will find that there is more of there signatures for sale than there are people on earth.

I had the pleasure of meeting the champ twice in my life and he left a positive feeling both times....first time was at a paid signing in denver in mid 90's where he was being paid to sign, and second time was at a little league tournament where he had a RV parked way in the back and I happened to see him...This was 2005 ish...he signed baseball after baseball for kids...and whenever someone wanted a picture he placed the kids fist next to his cheek like the kid was knocking him out...Truely an American icon gone but never forgotten...RIP Champ!!!!!:(:(:(

Yup, pretty gross but expected.
It's amazing that Ali probably signed 100's of thousands of legitimate autographs throughout his life, and the forgeries still probably outnumber the good ones 50 to 1, at least. |
