Perhaps you gave them (the cosigner) the infinite amount. Then the "under bidder" drove up the price that way ???

Why is his number of total posts relevant? He gave you his explanation of what happened. Believe him or don't, that's up to you. If nothing else I think it's nice he actually goes on forums to address controversial issues. I don't think an Auction House owner should be posting more than once in a while on a forum designed for collectors.
