Kevin,

You really think the people that would like this thread to go away are jealous that he owns the card? I think that's the easy way to dismiss legitimate concerns.

I just think it's really rude of the guy who owns the card to clog up the BST by bumping this thread as often as every three days. There are plenty of guys on this board who have more valuable cards that they want to sell. None of them have ever opened up a 5 month long blog thread about a single card. They might make one post about it here, and then if it doesn't sell, quietly send it to Goodwin, REA, LotG, etc.

Any net54 member who collects t206 has already seen this thread. So him bumping it serves no purpose that I can see.

+1. First of all, it's a very nice card. I'd love to own it. That said, I believe that everyone on here who might buy it based on the thread has seen it. At this point it is no longer a B/S/T thread. If you want unlimited advertising, pay Leon for a banner on the site and leave the B/S/T section for the folks that are actively trying to sell cards.

Robert,
I'll respond here instead of messing with drumbacks reverse auction thread.

You said:

"You just don't know a good card Jim your the loser."

No, a loser is a guy that post in the B/S/T thread, will not set a price, states several times he is sending it to a auction house, still doesn't, and keeps other legit B/S/T threads down on the list.

Currently has 264 replies, 16,400 views and NO SALE!!

Seems like a Kardashian. Attention whore.

I am really surprised Leon has let this go on for so long.

SET YOUR PRICE AND ADD OBO AND LET IT GO DUDE. You are screwing up everyone else on the B/S/T thread.

"Clog". Almost every other forum in the world has a bump restriction. Hate the rules and not the person obeying them. You should be talking to a moderator rather than trampling the thread if you have a concern about thr forum governance etiquite.

Again though, show some class about the problem and start a new thread instead of being a veteran, based on your profile, and direspecting someone.

Kevin

It's one damn thread, it isn't "clogging" up the BST. And it's not Robert's fault that people keep ranting and raving at him.

I bet that if this card was in the next REA it would sell for a very nice amount. It is practically famous . I cannot speak for anyone else, but I know I would bid.

The write up by REA can include some of the famous quotes about the card from this thread.

"Can we change the name of this thread to My Lenox Cobb Diary and move it to the main page?"

"Someone should really lock down this thread!"

"Do we have a weiner ???? I'm certain this is more mockery and Tomfoolery. Here's a free bump."

"Passive aggressive Friday bump."

Or the best one so far:

"Seems like a Kardashian. Attention whore."

Steve H.

This made made me laugh. And I'm honored that the write up would include one of my quotes

Again this is more entertaining than anything.

I agree that it's not Robert's fault that people keep posting, but here is a list since the first post with all of the times that Robert has bumped the thread with no other comments in between.

I realize that he is adhering to the "do not bump more than every few days", but when you keep bumping with no new information (price reduction, etc...)at what point do you give up and try another route?

3/16-3/19
3/23-4/1
4/10-5/2
5/2-5/6
5/15-5/20
5/20-5/28
5/28-6/1
6/1-6/5
6/5-6/13
6/15-7/3
7/7-7/14
7/14-8/7
8/7-8/21
8/21-8/31
8/31-9/3
9/8-9/11

So the thread does clog up the B/S/T because Robert never lets it leave the first page and every time he posts, he stirs up more comments...

You just bumped it yourself for at least the 2nd time in 24Hours!!
Everyone complaining here about bumps must realize they are bumping the thread. It's a bit comical.
My first and last comment in this thread. Good luck to all!

I'd consider paying $20K just to see this thread die. Edit to add: This thread was already at the top when I commented

A reply is not a bump. This is standard terminology in forum world.
