I don't understand why collectors / dealers get low / poor condition cards graded too. Then when it comes back with a low grade, they complain the card was undergraded!

There can be a purpose to slabbed cards in lower grade, IMHO. I buy mainly mid-to lower grade online (I like PSA 3's from the 1950's as long as they don't have major creases and retain eye-appeal) and a slab for a card that still can command more than a few bucks even in lower grade helps to set my mind at ease on exactly what I am buying. I don't know that I would pay to have raw cards in lower grade slabbed from my own collection just for the heck of it, but I don't mind them.
