No, I don't think it was purposely signed in order to fool a collector to be buy, i do believe it was ghost signed to appears a collector in the early 70s. I will not destroy it, although I don't know what "educational" purpose it will serve. Not a horrible loss of $, but a loss of $ no less. What is worse is that I want to replace it ASAP, but will not pay current BIN prices on ebay. I will have to learn patience and wait for one to come up at auction.
At least the Paige auto, which was considerably more, appears real. Meanwhile, my HOF count has dropped to 207, with 208 on the way from Jim. Last edited by tazdmb; 02-27-2014 at 12:04 PM. |
