That is awesome and very cool. I saw one at the National a number of years ago but they are very tough to find. I like the Willie Mays sun glasses as well.

Very cool! Who knew Willie was a skateboarder in his time off from baseball? LOL Anything for a buck...

Check out the old clay wheels.
Those and the dreaded steel skateboard and skate wheels were the only options back then for those of you that aren't old enough to remember back that far.

When I was taking pictures, I noticed how damn dry this thing is. I'd like to maybe oil it but that's probably not possible without darkening the veneer......any ideas?

I don't think Murphy's Oil Soap would darken it...I'd try a small spot on the bottom first though.

Murphy's says not to use on unfinished wood. I used a teeny bit of Pledge. I could almost hear the wood thanking me.
