I actually have this want list currently on the BST thread, but here are the only signatures that I still need to find to complete my collection of signatures from all no-hit pitchers dating back to 1893.
Some of these players are exceedingly scarce, but you gotta dream, right? Here is the list: Bill Hawke Elton Chamberlain Ed Stein Jay Hughes Red Donahue Walter Thornton Chick (Chic) Fraser Weldon Henley Jake Weimer Stoney McGlynn Ed Karger Johnny Lush Rube Vickers Leonard (King) Cole Thomas L. Hughes AKA Salida Tom Hughes (Highlanders) Carl Cashion Frank Allen Claude Hendrix Arthur (Davie) Davenport Please let me know if you can provide a lead to any of them. Thanks! If this is a dream list,I would like Brooklyn Dodgers signed balls from '46 to '57.

![]() Chick (Chic) Fraser threw a no-hitter for the Philadelphia Phillies in 1903. Fraser was a scout for the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1934 when this Brooklyn Dodgers banquet menu was signed. The event took place in Long Island just as the 1934 baseball season was just beginning. One off the list, with 18 more to go... Take a look for yourself. Note that HOF Hack Wilson was also in attendance and signed the banquet program as well. Last edited by Scott Garner; 08-31-2013 at 05:21 AM. |

This is the first Chick Fraser that I have seen offered in perhaps a decade. BTW, Jim was nice to me and gave me an offer I couldn't refuse. ![]() Many thanks Jim! Last edited by Scott Garner; 08-30-2013 at 07:39 PM. |

That's price you pay for collecting the more obscure players.
I bought an album page with a really nice, old school Baker on it but my focus was on Buck Freeman: ![]() |

Of the players that are impossible/very difficult, the top two on my list would Ed Delahanty and Matty.
As far as athletes that are at least more realistic, I would love to have a Jim Thorpe letter. |
