Also one of the drawers had the name of a law office written or stamped on the bottom. Googled that and found a practice of the same name from the 20's. I found it at a local antique store and am still on the look out for various things of this nature and cool boxes perfect for cards similar to Chris's cigar boxes or Steve's card table.

Not 'vintage baseball' but I'm pretty proud of this anyway and wanted to show it off. I had it made about three years ago. Solid mahogany, four drawers, and a nice area at the top for display.
-Edited to add: The logo on the front door is inlayed. Mother of pearl for the helmet and a few other materials were used for the rest.
