T206 Sovereign England
I won the Doolan and Devore and received them today. They appear to be trimmed or handcut from a sheet. From the scans, I thought they all might be trimmed. I did not pay very much so I left positive feedback.
I paid quite a bit on ebay a number of years ago from a guy in England for a Chase port Sovereign and a Dougherty Sovereign that appeared high grade, but were deemed trimmed by sgc. I consigned them to B and L a few years ago. Last edited by RCMcKenzie; 11-29-2012 at 06:48 PM. Reason: typo

There are tobacco card collectors and dealers in Britain. I talked with one. He dealt in British issues, but said advanced British hobbyists were well aware of US baseball tobacco cards because they are the most expensive tobacco cards in the world.
