I have a couple on my want list, Cobb and Young. I keep an eBay saved search and when they come up, they don't seem to go very cheap. Roughly the same as their t206 counterparts. I can't speak on commons, but maybe thats just what they are, commons.

Leon,

Your Blue Matty is a very nice looking card. It looks like it should be graded higher than a three, based on the scan. Just my opinion.

Hey Tony
I know. I bought it from my auction partner Scott before we were associated. It has a barely perceptible wrinkle next to his head but otherwise it really does look like a better conditioned card than the grade would indicate. And my astute partner got a good price from me for it. I think I paid about $625 for it......which was steep back then. Regardless of the number on the slab I buy the card and it warranted a bit higher price (to me).

The blue backgrounds with the bit of green at bottom are the best. if anyone has any graded examples to sell let me know.

I've always liked the portrait images of m116...I actually prefer the johnson to it's t206 portrait counterpart.

I think the way they were distributed contributes to so many high grade examples out there...and certainly dilutes the desirability as they are pretty easy to find in tip top shape.
