Scott T- when the Indiana Pacers won the 1973 ABA Championship, they clinched it against the Nets at the Nassau Coliseum. I went to nearly all the Nets playoff games that year including the one in which the Pacers clinched the title. That's the only championship I've ever witnessed in person.
And my freshman year at Boston University, we were the NCAA hockey champs (1969-70). Steve Sterling was the star of the team. But I never watched them play. Last edited by barrysloate; 03-12-2011 at 01:36 PM.
